My dad got invited to a VIP event at Cabela's tonight...since he has their credit card and he spends a lot on fishing stuff there.

He could invite immediate family to go. I'm his favorite daughter.

They had free wine. And beer.

And then they offered you a chance to save a lot of money with their Cabela's Visa.

And then they enticed you with 25 percent discounts on stuff you don't need.

And then I possibly left with a new credit card and $100 worth of sh*t I probably would have said no to when I wasn't happily buzzed.

Those magnificent bastards!

If every store did this, I think the recession would be over.

I've been there once, when my family was in town evacuated from a hurricane last year I think.  A pretty neat place, with all the stuffed animals.
