Lt. Nathan Mueller says the T-28 aircraft crashed during a routine Saturday at a Martinsburg airfield. Mueller did not have any details on the pilot's condition.

Officials said they did not immediately know of any injured spectators.

The plane was performing during the Thunder Over the Blue Ridge air show. The Journal of Martinsburg (http://bit.ly/nJ268P ) reports the aircraft lost control during a six-plane stunt formation and then crashed on a runway.
Another plane close to my heart. MrApples former boss owned one and mrapples used to work on it. Here is a photo of a T-28 for those of you who do not know what they look like. This is not the plane in article.
