The Quinnipiac University National Poll comes on the heels of another showing Biden running strong in head-to-head match-ups against Republicans in key swing states.
Both polls show Clinton polling better than Biden ? who is not a declared candidate ? in the Democratic primary race. But the latest national poll gives Biden the slight edge when squared against leading GOP contenders.
"Note to Biden: They like you, they really like you, or they like you more than the others,? Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, said in a statement.
The poll shows Biden leading Republican front-runner Donald Trump, 48-40 percent. He also leads former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, 45-39 percent.
