nother 296 pages of Hillary Clinton?s emails were released Tuesday ? exposing key Clinton aides doing favors for billionaires and, on one occasion, leaving the then-secretary of state?s daily schedule in an unlocked hotel room.

The documents were released by Judicial Watch, which is suing to recover Clinton?s emails under Freedom of Information Act laws.

In an April 2009 email to Clinton?s State Department aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills, President Clinton?s former body man, Doug Band, the founder of corporate consultant Teneo, urgently asked them to set up a meeting with an ambassador for a major donor to the Clinton Foundation.

Less than 20 minutes later, Band replied, ?Better if you call him. Now preferrable. This is very important.?

Chagoury is a Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire and a Clinton Foundation donor, giving somewhere between $1 million and $5 million.

The construction magnate has financial interests around the world and was convicted in Switzerland in 2000 for money laundering. He paid $66 million in a plea deal.

The emails also show Clinton?s closest aide, Abedin, left her boss?s daily schedule in an unlocked hotel room in Trinidad and Tobago, where the secretary of state was attending a conference.

?Hi Huma,? aide Melissa Lan wrote in an email to Abedin. ?Would it be possible to get one of the Secretary?s day book binders back for tomorrow?s product??

Abedin replied, ?Yes its [sic] on the bed in my room. U can take it. My door is open. I?m in lobby. Thx.?

Washington (CNN)Newly released emails from Hillary Clinton's tenure as secretary of state raise questions about the nature of the department's relationship with the Clinton Foundation.
Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, released 296 pages of emails from the Democratic presidential nominee, including 44 that Judicial Watch says were not previously handed over to the State Department by Clinton. The emails, many of which are heavily redacted, raise questions about the Clinton Foundation's influence on the State Department and its relations during her tenure.

In one instance, top Clinton Foundation official Doug Band lobbied Clinton aides for a job for someone else in the State Department. In the email, Band tells Hillary Clinton's former aides at the department -- Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin -- that it is "important to take care of (redacted)." Band is reassured by Abedin that "Personnel has been sending him options."

The emails were obtained by the group through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch against the State Department in 2015. The group did not respond to a CNN request for comment.
The Trump campaign seized at the new batch of emails, citing them as evidence of Clinton being corrupt. The prolonged investigations into her use of a private email server while at the State Department has fueled public distrust of her and plagued her presidential bid. But the Justice Department declined to press charges against Clinton for her handling of classified information related to the server earlier this year, with FBI Director James Comey saying while she was "extremely careless," it was his judgment that "no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case."

A few months after Hillary Clinton took over as U.S. secretary of state in 2009, a longtime associate with connections to the Clinton Foundation insisted that her senior aides give a job to an unidentified male associate.

?Important to take care of [name redacted],? Douglas Band, President Bill Clinton?s former right-hand man, wrote to Clinton aides Huma Abedin, Cheryl Mills, and Nora Toiv in an April 22, 2009, email.

?We have all had him on our radar,? Abedin responded. ?Personnel has been sending him options.?

The subject line on the email read ?A favor??

The email exchanged was uncovered by government watchdog group Judicial Watch, and was the result of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. It?s the latest example of the kind of cronyism that was rife at the State Department under Hillary Clinton?s watch.

Band served as a top aide to former President Bill Clinton and assisted in creating the Clinton Global Initiative. He is also a founding partner of Teneo, a global consulting firm that obtained approval from the State Department for a paid consulting arrangement between Bill Clinton and Band.

Teneo is the same firm where Mrs. Clinton longtime right-hand woman Huma Abedin worked as a senior adviser. Abedin was advising Teneo while working as a senior Clinton aide at the State Department.

While she was secretary of state, Hillary Clinton also handpicked Teneo co-founder and CEO Declan Kelly as her economic envoy to Northern Ireland.

In a separate email exchange, Band emailed Abedin and Mills requesting help connecting Clinton Foundation mega-donor Gilbert Chagoury with the State Department?s ?substance person? on Lebanon affairs. Abedin later promised to contact the ?substance person? about the request.

?This is very important,? Band replied, noting the urgency of the request.

Chagoury, of course, is the wealthy Nigerian-Lebanese businessman and longtime friend of former President Bill Clinton, whose worldwide exploits were heavily documented in The New York Times bestselling book Clinton Cash, authored by Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer.

In 2000, Switzerland convicted Chagoury of money-laundering and ?aiding a criminal organization in connection with the billions of dollars stolen from Nigeria during the [Sani] Abacha years? of military dictatorship, according to a PBS Frontline report. And despite Chagoury?s  being put on the federal terrorist no-fly list, the Clinton Foundation accepted a $1 to $5 million donation from the nefarious figure. WASHINGTON (AP) ? The State Department is reviewing nearly 15,000 previously undisclosed emails recovered as part of the FBI's now-closed investigation into the handling of sensitive information that flowed through Hillary Clinton's private home server.

Lawyers for the department told U.S. District Court Judge James E. Boasberg on Monday that they anticipate processing and releasing the first batch of these new emails in mid-October, raising the prospect that new messages sent or received by the Democratic presidential nominee could become public just before November's election.

Boasberg is overseeing production of the emails as part of a federal public-records lawsuit filed by the conservative legal advocacy group Judicial Watch.

Representing the State Department, Justice Department lawyer Lisa Olson told the judge that officials do not yet know what portion of the emails is work-related, rather than personal.

Newly released emails suggest a senior Hillary Clinton aide stage-managed her first hearing on the Benghazi terrorist attack by feeding specific topics Clinton wanted to address to Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez, who at the time was acting chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.

Hillary Clinton?s former chief of staff Cheryl Mills and two other staffers were granted immunity as part of the now-closed FBI probe into the former secretary of state?s email practices, according to a top House Republican who questioned whether the numerous deals hindered the bureau?s ability to build a case.

"This is beyond explanation,? House oversight committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, said in a statement Friday. ?The FBI was handing out immunity agreements like candy. I've lost confidence in this investigation and I question the genuine effort in which it was carried out.?

The arrangements detailed by Chaffetz bring the total number of publicly known immunity deals in the Clinton case to five.
