did you know that the concorde needs 200 mph of groundspeed to take off? it's design was optimized for supersonic flight, but it struggled to get off the ground.
And couldn't a Concorde type of airplane only land at certain airports? Concorde: Great idea, poor execution in the end. |

Damn you and your Smithsonian Channel. Now I wish I had see the show about the Concorde. it isn't free on directv, either. I forget what it costs. I just generally tell the customer service person to give me everything they have.  |
