Libyan forces fired machine guns at mourners as they went to bury those killed in violent clashes today as the death toll topped 200.
At least 15 more people were killed today and there was bloodshed during funeral marches for the second day in a row.
A doctor in a hospital in the eastern city of Benghazi, where the worst of the violence has happened, said his morgue had at least 200 dead from six days of unrest - although the total death toll remains unknown.

I noticed right off the difference with Libya and Egypt. Most signs in Egypt where english. Libya only 2 of them were. Mean while Obama is playing/coaching his daughters basketball team while his daughter was not even there.

If the unrest should spread west, if it catches on further in Tripoli for example, that would be a serious problem for Colonel Gaddafi.

Meanwhile, the state-run Jana news agency said authorities had arrested dozens of Arab nationals who were members of a "foreign network trained to damage Libya's stability, the safety of its citizens and national unity".

The group included Tunisian, Egyptian, Sudanese, Palestinian, Syrian and Turkish citizens.

However international observers considered the claim as a way to divert dissatisfaction with Colonel Gaddafi's regime.

International observers of the Red Cross gave Hitler and his thugs high marks too.  How does one know the truth any more in terms of what is really going on?  The news media in the USA is also corrupted, with one source as the sole source of international and national news....AP.

So, who do we turn to to believe what is really going on these days?  Journalism in America is slanted in almost every case, with reporters taking great liberties in what they report...as in a creative writing course.

From Twitter, #Tripoli, unconfirmed, repeat, totally unconfirmed, report that acc to a Libyan diplomat in Peking, Gaddafi is on his way to Venezuela.
#Tripoli refreshes a lot, very repetitive, reports that supermarkets have been set afire, and there’s lots of gunfire at Gaddafi’s residence. It’s late night in Tripoli, thousands in the streets, all very jazzed up.

Now there are totally unconformed and likely specious reports that Ghaddafi has fled to Venezuela and that one son has shot the other in a battle for control.

I really doubt these reports but the rumors must be heard! Power to the Rumor-mongers!

Thousands of protestors have clashed with Qaddafi supporters in central Tripoli, according to Al-Jazeera.

The Arabic station reports that anti-government protesters in Benghazi have seized army vehicles and weapons. A witness tells Al-Jazeera that some troops have defected and joined the anti-government protesters.

This comes as Libyan forces fired machine-guns at thousands of mourners marching in a funeral for anti-government protesters in the eastern city of Benghazi Sunday, a day after commandos and foreign mercenaries loyal to longtime leader Moammar Gadhafi attacked demonstrators with assault rifles and other heavy weapons.

CAIRO (AP) -- The son of Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi says protesters have seized control of some military bases and tanks.

Appearing on Libyan state television Sunday night, Seif al-Islam Gadhafi warned of civil war in the country that would burn its oil wealth.

He also acknowledged that the army made mistakes during protests because troops were not prepared to battle demonstrators.

Libyan tribe threatens to cut oil exports soon

TRIPOLI Feb 20 (Reuters) - The leader of the Al-Zuwayya tribe in eastern Libya threatened on Sunday to cut oil exports to Western countries within 24 hours unless authorities stop what he called the "oppression of protesters".

Speaking to Al Jazeera, Shaikh Faraj al Zuway said: "We will stop oil exports to Western countries within 24 hours" if the violence did not stop.

The tribe lives south of Benghazi, which has seen the worst of the deadly violence in recent days.

Akram Al-Warfalli, a leading figure in the Al Warfalla tribe, one of Libya's biggest, told the channel: "We tell the brother (Gaddafi), well he's no longer a brother, we tell him to leave the country."

Feb 20 (Reuters) - The United States is weighing "all appropriate actions" in response to Libya's violent crackdown on protesters and is analyzing a televised address by the son of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to see if there are prospects for meaningful reform, a U.S. official said on Sunday.

Translation....hey it is a holiday weekend do not bother us/we need to do polling to see how we will come out the best for the 2012 elections.
