Simply stated, this DEAL is UNACCEPTABLE to any conservative minded person!  They are talking $360 - 370 billion/year cut from the budget...when we have a $1.6 trillion deficit for the coming year, and I am sure that number leaps in the following nine years.

Total nonsense..............the Republicans are part of the problem, and sadly, not the solution.  This kind of thinking will lead the Democrats to win in 2012.  And maybe they should, at least we know they are the tax and spend and eliminate the middle class party.

DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is time the Tea Party gets serious and forms their own party to represent true conservative values, and jettisons the Republican hacks to obscurity.

It's past time for it. Even if the Republicans were to win the White House in 2012 it will not make a significant difference. Then Left wing activists with their socialist media will still control the ignorant masses. The only thing that will change that is a revolution.

Well Nat, you may very well be right, but I still believe if we had serious leadership in the USA, the budget issues would be resolved quickly.

$1.6 trillion deficit.....hmmm, where do we find it.....

$200+ billion in Iraq, a peace with no objective
$200+ billion in Afghanistan...a war(oh really??) with less than no objective
$100+ billion   military stationed in over 135 countries to defend the USA and their interests  (oh really??)
$100+ billion spent on illegal aliens for healthcare, food stamps, etc, etc

All this in two minutes, and I did not have to crack open any budget book.....I am CERTAIN I could find another $1 trillion with the details before me in less than one day's worth of work....and I am serious!!!!!!!!!!!

Eliminate the Departments of Interior(what are they doing these days with the Indians owning a gazillion casinos), Energy(what are they doing these days...really??....any effort at all to make the USA independent of our friendly Muslim OPEC friends and their thieves in common), Education....with less than 50% of the kids graduating from high school in major cities these days, maybe we should get rid of the Dept of Education and launch the Department of the Kubbitz, where little self sustaining farms are launched across America with the intent of getting back to basics...reading, writing, arithmatic, and planting and sowing crops, and about 50 other departments, bureaus, etc, etc.

Cut all support staff for elected officials in Washington, DC by 50% across the board, and in reality, it probably should be 80%.  Better yet, allow one secretary, one admin support assistant, and two others for whatever purpose.....PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michele Obama has how many people supporting her as first lady now?  Last count it was 46 or 64...now that is a real posse.  What does this fool(her novelty husband, the presidente) have in common with Harry Truman?  Other than both being male, that is about it.  Even Truman would change his registration today if he were here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

boehner has utterly screwed this up.  weeks ago, he should have passed a deficit increase with an equal amount (or more) of budget reductions.  then he should have dared the senate to reject it.  then he should have dared the president to veto it.

spending bills originate in the house.  it was his shot to call.

he has screwed around and let this thing get turned around on him, and now he is probably screwed.
