North Korea launches rocket, US officials confirm

  DEVELOPING - North Korea launched a rocket Friday, US officials confirm, in what the U.S. and its allies consider an attempt to test long-range missile technology.

It is unclear at this time if the launch was successful. U.S. officials tell Fox News that early indications signal the launch may have failed.

North Korean Rocket Launch Fails, US Officials Confirm

                      YONGYANG, North Korea -- Defying warnings from the international community, North Korea launched a long-range rocket it says is carrying a satellite into orbit, 2 U.S. officials said.

When the 90-ton rocket launched there was a larger than anticipated flare.

U.S. officials said that the missile is believed to have crashed into the sea.

In fairness, they don't call it rocket science for nothing, and our very own program has countless reels of failures.

But in all seriousness, I wouldn't trust them to build a bucket that could hold water.  Tis a dictatorship and a civilization that defies logic and any pretense of reason.
