White House confident on winning Hill support on Syria but scrambling to get votes

Quote
The Obama administration, bolstered by evidence the Syrian government used lethal sarin gas on its own people, expressed confidence Sunday that Congress would back President Obama’s decision for a military strike on the Middle East country.

However, the president and his inner circle worked furiously over the weekend to win congressional support, appearing on Sunday shows, holding classified briefings and making calls to Capitol Hill leaders.

Every Republican that supports Obama on attacking Syria should be forced out of office.  The Novelty President has no leadership skills, and is not representing the USA in our best interests.  This is why virtually no one is siding with him on this attack.

When one person after another struggles to understand WHAT or HOW this is in the national interest of the USA, it is a bad idea to get involved.

Obama drew a red line, and the American people oppose his stance on all this.  It is time to rid Congress of idiots like John McCain whose only mission in life is to feed the military industrial complex.

Fortunately, America is forced to stomach Obama for only 3.5 years, and hopefully he fades into obscurity like Bush.  But the McCains, and the Kerrys, they hang around endlessly, and beyond being of value to anyone.

Attacking Syria will not improve anything in Syria, and the scope of the attack on Syria will result in the USA being a further laughing stock.  Just not in our best interests.
