The incident happened at the Bear River Migratory Bord Refuge Sunday morning in Box Elder County. Two hunters were setting up for a day on the day. One of the men was in the water arranging decoys.

The man in the water had placed his 12-gauge shotgun across the bow of the boat. The dog was so excited that he jumped on the gun shooting one of the hunters in the buttocks.

The wounded man was taken to Brigham City Community Hopsital where doctors removed the shot. The 46-year-old man is expected to make a full recovery.

Is the media certain DIck Cheney wasn't in the boat?  Blame the poor dog....that makes sense.
