What the hell is a bot?

a bot is a person or automated script that seeks out discussion forums like our so that they can post commercial messages, and other assorted spam.

william is a bot.  but I thought it was so funny that he posted a poll about being a bot, that I left him alone.  well, I took the link out of his sig, but I didn't ban him.  we get three or four of these guys a week.  these days they are mostly from pakistan.
