Finished up with school last Friday, which made me happy. Ended up passing only one of my classes.  :-\  Glad I'm going back to my old program...

Applied for a job on Monday, interviewed today and start training on Monday. Fastest job I've ever gotten.

Now, a few weeks off before summer school starts.

Congrats Mike on the new job!  Enjoy the summer break my friend, revitalize and give it a fresh start when you switch programs for the next semester.

Congrats on the new job Mike.  Smiley

This week we have 30+ visitors in at work.  Today and tomorrow is the "big" meeting, with 50+ attendees.  There's so many people in for it that we had to have it in the next building over.  Since there are foreign nationals involved I get to spend a lot of the day escorting them from the meeting room to the bathroom down the hall.  I also have other duties on top of that.

I wore my comfortable shoes and my feet still hurt tonight.

The only saving grace is tomorrow hopefully the meeting wraps up earlier than 5pm, but even if it doesn't I have to leave at 5pm for school.

In good news I already have 5.5 hours of overtime clocked for this week.  Woo!

In completely other news, which is awesome, the gas company I leased my mineral rights to 3 years ago paid me my bonus to extend the contract another 2 years.  The gas well that will tap my house should be online within the next few months.  So that was one big-fat-check I got last week.

I'm thinking of getting a Cat Genie to take care of the cat business.  It's a big expenditure, so I'm still contemplating it.  I am also going to get a couple of ceiling fans and other things for my house and then save the rest of the money (maybe, I dunno, I tend to buy a bunch of sh*t when I get money - heh).

That's cool. I'm going out of town Saturday and Sunday as well. Plus, money. I don't get my first paycheck until June 6. But after that, we should figure something out.
