Which do you prefer? In the winter I do plastic. Much easier to carry to the house through 5ft of snow.

If possible, I go with out a bag, otherwise I usually choose plastic.  Once in awhile I actually remember to bring with me the reusable bag I keep in my auto.

I'm the same. When I end up with too many plastic bags the grocery store will take them back to recycle.

+1  It's pretty rare for me to ever have more than a handful of groceries.  Life is good!

Shrugs, I consider conservation a more or less conservative attribute.

That's a pretty neat idea.

It's convenient when I can remember to put the plastic bags back into my car to recycle them.  I use them for the litter box and my bathroom waste basket at home, but they do tend to multiply.

I prefer Paper Bags for shopping clothes and dry stuff.
But for wet goods and cold stuff plastic is my choice
