A/C Repair.... $700+?

The AC was run without a filter for a while. (I dunno why) and the repair guy said he was going to have to remove parts from the 3 or so year old TRANE system to get to the coil and give it an acid bath. He said this was going to take at least 4 hours.

$700 sounds pretty steep for this job.

But is it?
