Oprah Winfrey Says Press Cut Her Off at the Knees Over OWN

Oprah Winfrey is new at this whole wound licking experience. So the former talk show queen clearly was hurt by media reports on her new cable channel OWN's rocky start.

Winfrey opened up about the process to a friendly New York Times reporter over the weekend. The article covers the entire Winfrey empire, detailing its struggles since its boss relinquished her weekday talk show.

we have DirectV, which really tried to push it on the channel guide. I just kept taking it off.

Directv has a couple of "off in the weeds" channels (that I will refrain from mentioning) in their lineup.  I believe there is some mysterious Clinton era regulatory requirement that makes carriers broadcast leftist crap . . .
