Don't be hatin' on the REAL America's Team.

the packers are incredibly lucky to have aaron rogers in the wings after 15 years of brett favre.  just incredibly lucky.

I have no idea what the hell the falcons are doing at 13-3.  I anticipate a GB stomping.

the steelers game tonight is epic.  these boys all came to play.

the steelers and ravens scored more points in this game than their two previous meetings this season combined.

I'm a Cowboys fan, so I can only cheer on the teams playing teams I don't like.

the falcons look finished.  that last INT for a TD is probably a back breaker.

the bears win, and set the oldest rivals in football up for an all-nfc north NFC championship game.

packers at the bears, and the winner goes to the super bowl.  life is sweeeeeet.

Yes, the NFC Championship will be epic.  Wish I could watch it at home with a 12-pack, but I'm still out here in Iraq.  The good news is I should be home in time for the Superbowl!!  If the Packers pull it off in Soldier Field, THAT will be one helluva homecoming. :-)

this is what sports is all about.  it's like the dodgers and the giants in the NLCC, or boston and the yankmees.

if you are a sports fan, you LIVE for this kind of game.

if the jets beat the patriots, it makes a steelers packers super bowl very possible.

No matter who wins the Conference Championships, it will be an all Yankee Superbowl, in DALLAS of all places. The yankees are invading the south again!!!!!!!!!

Being a Houston Texans fan, I think it'll be Green Bay against Pittsburg, but being a Texans fan, I don't really care.

oh, yeah?  the president says he is going to the super bowl if the bears get in.  STILL feel that way?  ;D

Go Not-the-Packers!!

who had the bright idea to screw with the schedule?  nfl games start at 1 and 4, NOT 3:00 and 6:30.  why do the "smart people" always have to mess with things?

I do not want Chicago to win because of our dear reader.

Title: Re: Playoffs

most of the ESPN guys think that the jets will beat the steelers.  and no one thought that chicago will beat GB.

a steelers vs bears SB is probably a nightmare scenario for the networks.  it would probably be a baseball score, like 6-3.  people would rather watch c-span that something like that. ;D

wow.  the bears defense got absolutely shredded on that first drive.

GB, a 6 seed, makes it to the super bowl.  losing their QB didn't help the bears any, but GB is going to have to play better if they want to beat the steelers.

I think the Jets will win this one. I want the Steelers though

that would be two #6 seeds in the super bowl.  I wonder if that has ever happened before?

I think the Jets will win this one. I want the Steelers though

wouldn't it make cowboys fans sick for GB to win the super bowl in their house?  their brand new house?

I sure hope he is not there. It would be all about him if he did show up.

"Hello sportsfans and welcome to Obama Bowl I. As the Green Bay Packers take the punt to the 21 yard line here is a view of his majesty's luxury suite, all decked out by Jerry Jones himself, he has a coterie of 44 people to serve him there during the game."

After every single play, Obama this and Obama that

I am sure he would be awarded the MVP, even though he never left his luxury box.   he could put it on the shelf next to his utterly undeserved nobel prize, and his "holy crap, look what just fell into my lap" presidency.

Last year they did (him and meesheeel) did a commercial of some sort, that alone  was awful. I was just sitting watching the game ....then boom both of them were on the TV. I could not stand it if they go. I may not watch if they do!

I am SO psyched.  My home team is going to the Superbowl, and I'll be back from Iraq in time to see it!!  Can't ask for a better homecoming than that.  Now it's time to win the Superbowl in the Cowboys' stadium, in the same season we beat them so bad they fired their head coach. :-)  GO PACKERS!!

Title: Re: Playoffs

it appears that GB has opened as a 3 point favorite.

That was a forward pass, not a fumble or a lateral, and I've watched it over and over with a non-partisan eye.
