After reviewing the numbers from the past wars, I am not overly concerned that Israel would not romp the arabs once more.  The battle numbers are stunning.

But more importantly, Israel should be getting tired of the arab threat to destroy them forever sufficiently, that one of these days, if the arabs bring it on, the Israelis may just say....VANQUISH THE &^%^%$$^*@* ONCE AND FOR ALL.

What would that take?  Well, I figure a nuclear device being detonated in each of the largest populated cities in each of the attacking countries might get their attention.  I say might because they just do not want to stop with the agitation.  The simple fact is that the arab countries are working diligently on acquiring/developing nuclear and biological weapons.  Once they get them, they will use them.

So, what is Israel to do?

Here is another question.. Should the Muslim Brotherhood get a hold of Egypt's hardware. How long until they could use them? Have they been training? Do they have flight simulators? How long does it take to fly a F-15? Drive a tank? a year?  That in itself buys time.

W.H.: Resignation of Mubarak son not enough

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0211/48894.html

The White House is now openly pushing for replacing Egypt President Hosni Mubarak with a temporary caretaker government that includes the military and is applauding a decision by Mubarak’s son to step down as head of the country’s ruling party.

But a senior administration official said those steps weren’t enough - and suggested that Mubarak needs to take “additional steps” to quell the chaos in the streets of Cairo, which is threatening to sink Egypt’s already foundering economy.
Emphasis mine. Aiding the enemy? Chilling

Let's not get theatrical here.

No matter how well trained they are, they are no match for the Israelis.  The arabs know this now.  They have had their &^%$ kicked a few times, not so long ago.  The battles would be fast and decisive.  It would be like pitting a t-ball team against a pro team.

dude, if you are THAT out numbered it won't mattter.

If we tried to send 4 aircraft carriers to war against China, our fighters will be outnumbered 100+ to 1.

Its been said that even if our guys hit and killed a Chinese jet with every missile, we still lose.

Israel is a small country and they are outnumbered. This time the enemy has good toys. We can count Saudi Arabia and others with the ones who have the good toys. From us.

The situation with China we can thank the Democrats led by HarryTruman for.

Egypt's Brotherhood warns it could quit talks with government

"We are assessing the situation. We are going to reconsider the whole question of dialogue," the Brotherhood's Essam el-Erian told Reuters on Monday. "We will reconsider according to the results. Some of our demands have been met but there has been no response to our principal demands that Mubarak leave."

The Muslim Brotherhood movement was among the groups that met Egyptian government officials at the weekend, a sign of how much has already changed in an uprising that has rocked the Arab world and alarmed Western powers.

The presence at the weekend talks of the banned movement, whose members have for years been repressed by Mubarak's feared security forces, was a significant development that would have been unthinkable before the uprising.

The Brotherhood is seen as by far the best organized opposition group, whose potential rise to power troubles Egypt's Western allies.

Opposition figures reported little progress in the talks. While protesters worry that when Mubarak does leave, he will be replaced not with the democracy they seek but with another authoritarian ruler.
I noticed last night coverage was over on the MSM. Fox had missing family stories. MSNBC did not check , although I am sure it had a "lockdown" CNN? Noticed Foxnews.com nothing about Egypt. White House must be upset... or planing?
