you know, I actually empathize with hillary on this one.  first of all, I always considered her the smartest member of the clinton family, and after she put up with his bullsh*t just to save his presidency . . . . well, that was a bit much for her to have to take.

I agree, I mean, it was an accident.  But at the time, I mean, if someone had asked it, I can understand her reaction, I mean as a woman to be asked "well, but what does your husband think?" is messed up.

and she was all lined up to be the one that beat john mccain last year, and she gets wiped out by the biggest thing to hit politics since, say, thomas jefferson.

really.  I feel for hillary.  and she wouldn't be as overextended as obama is right now, IMO.  she would have done health care first.

I'm going to be honest... while I agree, that it's an understandable reaction and surely shouldn't be held against her...

I do understand what you're saying, but I totally understand her reaction.

her frustration is understandable.  there are quite a few obamite czars that have carved off independent areas of responsibility on her turf.  the ambassador to the UN, susan rice (who's personality is bad enough) traditionally reports to the SofS, but in the obama white house, reports directly to the president.  then her husband gets sent to NK.

meanwhile, hillary takes a meaningless trip to the less significant countries in africa.   

I think I would snap, too.
