A $90 million October put Team Obama over the top. “In the first 17 days of October, 1,251,291 people came together to raise $90,500,000 for the campaign and combined committees,” the campaign announced on Twitter Thursday.
Obama, who has railed against the influx of big money from conservative megadonors, quickly attributed the success to small donors, noting that since April 2011, 4.2 million people have donated.
