I was close to "it remains to be seen", but I admit that I have always been a michael vick fan. he was the most exciting player in the nfl when he got busted, and as a sports fan, I look forward to seeing his return.

I thought the NFL was right to say that yes he could play, but since I already don't like the Eagles, this is just a whopper of a reason to dislike them more. edited to add: since that's not an option, I didn't vote. When the NFL said he could still play, I agreed with that decision, but hoped that no one would sign him at the same time. Being out of prison is his second chance. I say let him play. Well, I do agree that our justice system is quite unfair sometimes. I don't think the NFL commissioner should have prevented him from being signed, but at the same time, what he did is quite disgusting and I'm hoping he did learn a lesson about it (and not the lesson of, I need to hide things better). Unsweetened answer: Professional sports are an entertainment business. His infamy which could attract fans or repulse them, will likely have an effect on his earnings and rightfully so. |
