North Korea: The Mouse That Roared - Part II

All week we have heard that North Korea has the ability presently to mount a nuclear bomb on its ICBMs and launch those ICBMs and hit much of mainland USA.  President Trump has rattled his saber and indicated a response unparalleled in the history of mankind.  Ugggh!

Then the other day, a retired colonel on Fox News gives the indication the technology present in North Korea is 70s, 80s technology, not possessing of much accuracy and could not possibly hit Guam if they wanted, and certainly not mainland USA.

All this theater has reminded me of the movie with Peter Sellers The Mouse That Roared.  The movie is about the smallest country in the world, the Duchy of Grand Fenwick declaring war on the USA and immediately surrendering to the USA in the hopes of receiving huge amounts of post war aid.  

The idiotic irony to reality is that the NK need not declare war and receive huge amounts of aid from the USA on the promise of suspending their nuclear program.  This clown act has gone on for multiple decades.  President Trump has said enough b*llsh*t!  And he is right, enough is enough.  

This drama has few differences to the Duchy of Grand Fenwick story.  Anyone under 60 years of age probably has never seen the movie.  But for certain, it is classic Sellers!  Laugh riot.

Back to the little sh*t in the NK.  He is s genuine threat to the world, and largely the sole responsibility of China for his existence.  So the solution is easy.  The USA needs to apply a 30% tariff on all goods produced in China until China steps up and eliminates the little sh*t.  Either the USA gets tough with China and NK, or we are every bit the pathetic nation we have become.

We may well have the strongest military in the world, but we are no better than the Duchy of Grand Fenwick if we are unwilling to stand up to our enemies.
